Shiyawada Forest – Near Sanand GIDC, Ahmedabad

Shiyawada Forest is a native plantation and biodiversity initiative being developed by Gujarat Rajya Gram Vikas Samiti (GRGVS) at Shiyawada Village, Sanand Taluka, Ahmedabad District, near Sanand GIDC. The project aims to establish approximately 15,000 trees through dense plantation of suitable native and climate-resilient species, supported by systematic irrigation, maintenance and long-term care. Located close to the Sanand GIDC industrial belt, the project also provides companies in and around Sanand GIDC an opportunity to participate in meaningful environmental CSR, employee volunteering and long-term tree plantation initiatives.
