One connected purpose
A better environment.
A better everyday life.
01 / Our story
A shared belief.
A lasting commitment.
Progress begins with the needs of a community — and the people willing to act.
Gujarat Rajya Gram Vikas Samiti (GRGVS) was established on 5 September 1988. What began with a commitment to rural development continues through practical environmental and social programmes across Gujarat.
We connect environmental care with everyday wellbeing: native forests, water conservation, safer learning spaces, women’s empowerment, sanitation and community infrastructure.
Working with communities, corporate CSR teams, foundations and public institutions, we bring local coordination and implementation experience to projects shaped around the needs of a place.
Our foundation
Our founding contributors — Shri Ibrahim Mansuri, Shri Sankarbhai Patel, Shri Chandrasinh Jhala and Shri Ramchandra Soni — helped establish GRGVS’s commitment to community service and social development.
02 / Our purpose
People and nature.
A future shared.
Environmental care and social development belong together. That belief connects everything we do.
Our vision
Thriving communities.
A sustainable tomorrow.
To advance sustainable development and improve the social and economic wellbeing of underserved communities.
Our mission
Turn shared intent
into practical action.
To strengthen communities through environmental restoration, water and sanitation, education, women’s empowerment, rural infrastructure and opportunities for a dignified life.
